Hey, I'm trying to record a speedrun of a game (obviously) with Camtasia Studio 6. I can manage to get the video to record perfectly, but I can't get the sound from the game to record, or from anygame. I can make it so my microphone will record sound while recording the video though.

When I click "Record the screen", and then on "Audio" in the small window that pops up, the drop down arrow gives me 4 options:

Microphone (High Definition Aud
Digital Input Device (SPDIF) (H
Line In (High Definition Audio

Options...

I've selected each of the 3 options and none of them will record the audio and the options menu doesn't help. Any ideas?

this discussion is about Camtasia 5 but there should not be very different in Camtasia 6:

Yea, I've read that, there is no "Speaker Audio (What you hear)" selection anywhere that I can find. :S

Just read through that and did what it said. "Show disabled devices" was already ticked and there weren't any disabled devices, so nothing else showed up. All I have in the Recording tab in Sound is:

Microphone (Not plugged in)
Microphone (Working)
Line in (Working)
Digital Input Device (SPDIF) (Working)

"What you hear" hasn't showed up anywhere.
