Call of Duty: World at War

First of all, this game is really fun to speedrun, & I need a new game to run before I really start working on my Mario Galaxy run. So would anyone be interested in helping/doing an IL table for this game? I don't know any glitches for the game, & I haven't found any either, so help with that would be much appreciated. I just have one question: Would the plane level (I think it's called Black Cat's or something like that) be included in the IL table? I'm not sure if you can beat it any faster since it basically moves for you.

So....anyone interested?

ive only really speed throu last to levels. the american and japanese missions are really annoying to speed run. the banzai psychos and random headshots for most part.

what difficulty do you plan to speed run? i did it on recruit because my goal was speed and to remove the BS as much as possible.

youtube might be good for glitches but you'll find alot of multiplayer glitches as through out the year since it was released hundreds of glitches have be found and patched in multiplayer.

its kinda weird i was thinking of creating a topic for this game.

but i refused to speed run anything besides recruit.

Yeah if I did decide to speedrun this I would run it on the easiest difficulty for the reasons you've already stated. I've beaten the game on veteran, which is a pretty tough challenge IMO so I'd say I'm fairly good at the game, (and it doesn't hurt to note that I always do good online on hardcore TD ) but I've only actually ran through about the first half of the levels in the main campaign so I don't know much about running through the last levels.

I've looked on youtube for glitches but I haven't been able to find anything for the main campaign, (although I haven't looked extremely hard) but like you said, I've found tons of videos for glitches on multiplayer & zombie maps that have or haven't been patched.

Now I'm not good at finding giltches...at all. That's just not the way I think. I'd say I'm pretty good at running and stuff like that, I'm just not good at finding things. So if I do decide to run this, I would need quite a bit of help finding glitches.

yeah i dislike glitches. but speedrunning is a different story. you could always 1. do a legit speed run. or 2 play co op alot and ask them if they know of any.

the bad parenting this world holds has got rated M games riddled with children. they seem to be into glitching so even though they are extremely annoying it would be good to ask them.

also i play HeadQuarters and hc search. almost put in 50 days played. in just over a year. very hard to find free time for anything else. lol

well if you plan to do it on recruite i'll help with strats as my mind doesnt work around glitches either.

Well I'm not sure if you would consider me under age, but yeah I get what you're saying. My mom runs a daycare in our house so I have to deal with it all day.

Anyway, if i did start doing a run, it would probably be glitch-free. Do you think it's faster to sprint with a pistol than a sub-machine gun, or are they the same? I haven't timed it out yet, but it always seems like I'm going a tad faster. I know that running with a pistol is faster than running with a bolt-action, or at least it seems like it.

Maybe tonight or later tomorrow I'll work on the first level and see how fast I can get through it.

Edit: I also noticed that the "All Ghillied Up" mission on Call of duty 4 IL table could be improved by 2~3 minutes....unless the glich on the PC version can't be pulled off on Xbox 360.

Not sure what a good time would be for Semper Fi is but I got a time of ~4:25. Manual timed. & I'm not sure how good this was as it was only a few tries, but it seemed like I was at a pretty quick pace.

a handgun would be the quickest but since its a good idea to carry 2 smgs the handgun wont matter. less reloading and such. wouldnt carry a BA or semis since they have horrible rate of fire. and not mg, browning, flame thrower. or anything that really slows you down.

smgs are the way to go.

and by underage i mean anyone who acts or sounds underage. underage being under 17. but i play with 15 and 16 year olds who were a year younger when i first started playing with them. and they were mature. so its not the age its the way they act. ive also played with grown men who act underage which i ignore.

ima play semper fi later see what i come up with. did you time from start of control to end of control?

Ya I started from start of control to end of control, my time probably isn't too great (I didn't play it a whole lot), but It didn't seem too bad either. I'm not sure, can't wait to see how fast you can do it, that would help me a lot.

I agree with you on the guns, I carried with my pistol and the type 100 with me through the whole level. I forgot to try this but maybe you could carry 2 type100's if that would help with the ammo. I don't remember if you can carry 2 of the same gun though, I don't think I've ever really tried it

sorry still havent got free time outside multiplayer to play semperfi yet.

well i dont think you can carry 2 of the same weapon. not in multiplayer so im guessing not anywhere else either. well if they have different attachments maybe. but doubtful you'll find a weapon with different attachments.

I tried to carry two type 100s in Semper Fi but it wouldn't let me, so no you can't carry two of the same gun. Unless there is an attachment like you said.
