Commandos 2 run completed

My brother finally got around to finishing all the levels, so that he now has a complete run for each of the 10 campaign missions in Commandos 2. His run was completed on normal difficulty.

Would the good folk of SDA be interested in seeing this run?

The submission guidelines recommend creating a thread here, so that the demand for a given run can be asssesed. Of course, technically, we should have done this before starting the run

Yeah, we've still not gotten the run to Radix. What can I say, we're just bloody lazy

We've made some interesting improvements in the time we've been idling anyhow. We're having a last ditch effort at removing a 'magic beans' incident from one level. This basically involves your Commando coming back to life shortly after being killed. It would be legitimate to release a run with this bug in, but I'm sure it would get some raised eyebrowse from casual viewers.

We're hoping to get the run to Radix this weekend. Sorry to keep you folks waiting.

I find this amazingly funny
so 60 years later, the germans are playing the part of the bold allied commandos sabotaging the axis armies

I haven't seen the vid yet, but I'll be highly interested in a run on this game as well (I never made it through, it was not my favorite type of game and required too much skill in my opinion).
I guess by those "stripes" you mean Mausezähnchen that mostly come from using a wrong format or compression method. It has something to do with interpolation, I'm not sure though.


EDIT: Those are most obvious NOT mausezähnchen, but they are hell annoying since they flash all the time, too. How did you record the run, using fraps?

Yes, i used fraps
and this run was on 800x600 (because the 1024x768 menu is so big and this sucks^^)
i've just try 1024 and these "stripes" dont go away!
so a problem with fraps and commandos

Unfortunately Radix has a lot of real life stuff going on right now, that will prevent him from accepting this run for at least a month
