So, couldn't find any runs for this oldie, so I figured I should do one. I'm currently doing the whole thing in 25 minutes, I should be able to go below 20 minutes, without any bugabuse whatsoever.
Main strategy: - Skip sword in first level. - Never kills enemies, just parry and move through them. - Never get lifepotions. - Kill Jaffar by pushing him off the cliff.
I'll try to get a video up as soon as possible, to open for feedback and improvement before I make the final edition.
Is there a way to record PCSpeaker sounds? Cause that's all the game's got.

Yes, you can record PC Speaker. What sound card do you have? On your motherboard, unplug the PC speaker and plug it into your soundcard's AUX or redbook CD audio port. Then go into Windows and make sure aux or cd audio is not muted. Then, well, just set a recording program to save audio from that channel. But an easier way is to use the latest DOSBox ( http://dosbox.sourceforge.net) and use the ctrl+alt+F5 key to record (saves to program files/dosbox/capture).

I just want to see the run. I don't care if it's acceptable or not

I'll do a quick DosBox just so we can discuss and improve. I don't particularly feel like toying around with my hardware.
As for 15:56, I fear there might be bugs involved, it sounds very nearly perfect at least. I might have to look into my running-jump technique, because running-jump is faster than just running. I hate that.

They consider it as an emulator. Emulators are not accepted.

I didn't ask for a cable but yea, you could plug your pc to a tv/lcdtv and run it from there and record it with DVD-recorder/player and etc. A lot of work though.

Here is the best time I know of for the PC version of Prince of Persia. There's a movie there also to help you hone your skills. Good luck!
