I've updated the post and edited in Downup's BS and OP4 run, and Spider-Waffle's single- segment. Smiley

anyone do a HL2: Episode one speedrun yet? yeah its kinda early to be considering this but its the same engine and stuff...... and it looks like it might be kinda hard to get a run done, mb even the runs would be longer than the HL2 runs Tongue

It'll probably be hl2dq team that makes a Half-Life 2: Episode One run.

They are already working on it I think. I didn't read in the spoiler page but it would be in there.

Mr. Stubby, how many licks does it take to get to the Tiki Roll center of a Tiki Pop?

I've had the Blue Shift 28:02 video desync several times in the entire file.  It got really bad towards the end.

I hate to interrupt this splendid thread with an almost unrelated technical question, but I'm utterly incapable of accessing the filefront videos (Peace Like Us) as my computer persistently displays an error message stating, "Quicktime Unavailable: The Quicktime Plug-in requires Quicktime system extension version 5 or later.  Quicktime is available from http://www.apple.com/quicktime."

I have no idea why, and I likewise am not sure why quicktime is required for me to access filefront, in the first place.  Does anyone have any idea what causes this or how it can be resolved?  (Downloading version 7+iTunes multiple times over has proven fruitless) I tried looking around Apple's website, but the message begins to appear on every page other than the one prompting me for the version 7 download.  Sorry, I wouldn't ask here if it wasn't imperative I correct the problem to see some of the recent mods... Thanks!!!

EDIT:  Eww... a new problem.  When I try to uninstall, it says, basically, that some file or other doesn't exist.  *Heavy sigh*

EDIT2: Err.. okay.  After scanning roughly fifty or so google result pages and unsuccessfully trying to use their advice, I just uninstalled iTunes, left quicktime the way it was, and restarted.  I still get error messages, but, WHATEVER; I can now watch "Peace Like Us."  Sorry 'bout all that.

Obviously, the games will sell better if they are not labeled, "Fighting a Meaningless War Against People You Don't Know for a Cause You Don't Understand," but come on.

I think my Half-Life: Uplink run on hard, Steam w/ hlspbunny, should be included...
Mod: LINK REMOVED 4MB
Demo Files: LINK REMOVED 2½MB (use "playdemos segment1 segment2 segment3 segment4" in console to play them all at once)
The time supplied in the thread was timed strictly from the start to the finish, apparantly as far as I know, you guys measure in another way, so someone please retime it.

EDIT: Removed links...

Actually its not I who make the Half-Life 2: Uplink mod, I just found it. (Currently it seems as if the homepage is dead :/)
And if I may ask, Dark Devil, could you take the honor or timing my run, I'm fairly confident you will time it much better than I Grin

My best Half-Life hazard course time is around 4:00.  Embarrassed

I don't use long jumps or bunny hops untill I get the long jump pack.
