I hate to interrupt this splendid thread with an almost unrelated technical question, but I'm utterly incapable of accessing the filefront videos (Peace Like Us) as my computer persistently displays an error message stating, "Quicktime Unavailable: The Quicktime Plug-in requires Quicktime system extension version 5 or later. Quicktime is available from
http://www.apple.com/quicktime."
I have no idea why, and I likewise am not sure why quicktime is required for me to access filefront, in the first place. Does
anyone have any idea what causes this or how it can be resolved? (Downloading version 7+iTunes multiple times over has proven fruitless) I tried looking around Apple's website, but the message begins to appear on every page other than the one prompting me for the version 7 download. Sorry, I wouldn't ask here if it wasn't imperative I correct the problem to see some of the recent mods... Thanks!!!
EDIT: Eww... a new problem. When I try to uninstall, it says, basically, that some file or other doesn't exist. *Heavy sigh*
EDIT2: Err.. okay. After scanning roughly fifty or so google result pages and unsuccessfully trying to use their advice, I just uninstalled iTunes, left quicktime the way it was, and restarted. I still get error messages, but, WHATEVER; I can now watch "Peace Like Us." Sorry 'bout all that.
