Nice time Ewil! Can't wait to see a video. I've tried to play Driver on my PC (I've still got an old original CD ) but when I run the game.exe there's just an error message. I don't know what the message in english is, but it means that a problem has occurred by game.exe and has to be ended.

Try some compatibility modes. I had to use one, too. Or maybe a patch if that works for your version.

I've already checked that with 95,98 and 2000 but it didn't work, but now I've tried it with NT and it worked but now I've got another problem: The CD can't be found, but the CD is inserted... I'll try a (NoCD)crack or so.

I've found a crack now, but just for version 1.1, so I'll need a patch. I've searched at google and didn't find anything, just hardware drivers. Do you know how to get a patch?

The run is up, but with weird timing. They probably included all in-game cutscenes and hotel parts, but the time in each video matches the 57:54:44, which is calculated by game's accurate timer. Enjoy watching

nice run
game mechanics are so much smoother than ps. it sure looked easier to play to me. aside from smoothness, cops looked easier to lose, being able to drive through stuff like park benches that i couldn't, freakout guy was freaked out easier, fewer cops on some missisons, even the traffic looked easy.
still a good run.

It looks easy, because I made it so. I always took the most lucky attempt. Only about 1 of 30 attempts was actually finished. 80% of them failed on wrongly positioned or unexpected behaviour of traffic and the rest failed on cops that I couldn't avoid without taking a serious slowdown=anything that would slow me from top speed to 50mph. Trust me, PC version is harder. When I saw your run, I couldn't believe how easy it looks. I agree that President's Run is harder on PS as for unknown reason I don't have a mobster cars coming from either side of road even on Hard, but all the other things are easier like more time (because the timer goes slower), less cop cars, couple shorter missions, 4-5 times more damage in chases and some other small things.
Anyway, I'm thinking of a SS run since the game is short and shouldn't take long. It will be on Easy unless I find a way how to deal the final mission with a better chance than 1/40 attempts.

i watched your run, and thought it was easier, you watched my run and thought it was easier, but im supoosed to just trust you when you say pc is harder for some reason?
i dont have more time because the timer is messed up, but the gameplay would slow down at times. id prefer the accurate timing and smoother play of pc, thatd make it easier for me.
in you run "the rescue", there are only the 2 cops sitting around the pickup point. on ps version i didnt do that mission because there were 3 more cops waiting outside on the street.
it looked a hell of alot easier to lose cops, seemed like you only had to be a block away. cops had better visual range on ps.
i was not able to drive through park benches, and you were, making it a little easier.
you couldnt believe how easy some of my missions looked, welll couldnt i not be good enough to make my run look easy? or is it just the flaw of ps, and not skill of player.

I didn't have any problems hearing a cop cars while music was playing, but I think it's ok. Good luck on Hard, especially with The Maddox Hit and The President's Run as those are the hardest mission and unfortunately they are the last of 3 and 4 missions in a row. The best strategy for most missions is to avoid any felony, which means to slow down to 50-60mph while passing a cop. I was able to complete most of the missions this way without any bigger problems or slowdowns, except those 2 missions. On the other hand, you have to choose different mission patern than Steal a Cop Car . There is always a cop at the end and I've never managed to lose him around the building, their acceleration is just too fast, but rest of the missions should be same as in my run.
ZhouTai: You'll see the difference in SS.
