yes i know that with virtual dub and i have it and i try it,but with virtual dub i need 3-4 times longer for encoding the file.....so i decide me for bigger files and faster encoding

Compressing in virtualdub is easy. Open the video file, select divx/xvid for the video codec, mp3 for the audio, and then save as a new .avi. It also works very fast.

I just installed their toolbar on IE since I only use ff for the internets. Only a minute waiting time. For a fast and simple way to decrease filesize is to use http://www.tmpgenc.net/ . When I have to put some vid on the net I always use that. Should be good for WIP vids atleast, and you might get someone to dl those vids for commenting when they are not huge |
