Slowbro, no -- I'll put up $50 per game. I'll throw in another $25 on certain conditions, which should be very easily worked out with the runner prior to doing the run.
And like I said, I'll handle all the encoding. He (she) would have to do one massive unconstrained join with H264 to knock all that FRAPS video down to something managable (like maybe 8GB or something), but I'd get it all cleaned up and handle the various formats. Technically speaking, I've got plenty of FTP space for 500GB of video. But that's one hell of a upload/download.

Oh man, I started playing freespace 2 again and... my bounty is insane. I know that I suck and that my original bounty was probably possible, but...
The revised version is: the same amount of money, $25, for a speedrun of the game that gets on SDA. No difficulty stipulations, no forced 100%. Just play well. I do reserve the right to withhold cash if I feel that the verifiers were too lenient and that the run should not be on SDA, but I honestly doubt this case would come up in a million years.
As per the usual, do contact me beforehand to make sure I'm actually around, etc. LOL I'm glad to here you're playing it again... as you may remember, I was in the middle of playing it for the first time when you made that bounty, and I pretty much chalked it up as insane... I just figured you were poor, so you were trying to stimulate some interest without any risk of having to pay it, but now I see your memory just needed refreshing. I'm almost tempted to go for this now, but I'm afraid the Source Code Project version available online wouldn't be accepted since it's not the official release. Free Space 1 would be fun, but I'm afraid it might not make that great of a speedrun, and it would be very difficult to optimize ... I'd hate to find out that I actually suck at the game because it takes me too long to dogfight a Dragon class ship. That and some missions require lots of waiting, or the fastest outcome might be to lose the mission, which is never fun. Anyway, I'm rambling - glad to see the updated bounty!

I'll give someone 200$ if they can do the following: -Trauma Center: Second Opinion single segment, XS ranking on every mission, with a time under 3 hours Same applies to New Blood.

You are more than welcome to claim my money if you want to. I encourage it. :) But sadly, no, the source code project would not be accepted. It'd have to be done on the original game (frankly, I think the original looks pretty spiffy still, but I haven't ever played the scp). Now freespace 1, that game is so dated I'm surprised it runs at all on my computer, but that's another story.
And yeah, not knowing how good I am is one of the reasons I haven't toyed with thoughts of running the game myself. Well, I have, but I am also quite sure that I would not be able to get anywhere near a decent run time myself, and so I have disqualified myself. :( Besides, I'm lazy enough with my projects as it is, so I'd never finish it anyways.
In conclusion, I beg of you to go give me an excuse to spend money.

I guess I'll put up a bounty.
$25 - Shatterhand for NES . A clean deathless run. No specific time required, but should be good enough for SDA (Obviously)

In conclusion, I beg of you to go give me an excuse to spend money. Problem with Freespace 2 is that you can speed it up maximum ofl 10 times!!! Well I don't think anyone could even win a mission with 10x, but most probably can with 2x speed!

I'll put up $50 for Mechwarrior 2: Mercenaries, Mechwarrior 3, and Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries. If it's just an absolutely incredible run, I'll throw in maybe another $25. I'm not entirely sure about Mech 2, 4, Black Knight, or Mechwarrior 1. Possibly, but just not certain at this point.
Question about Mechwarrior 4: Mercenaries. In options you could turn some stuff on and off such as: Heat On/Off; Unlimited Ammo On/Off; Invincibility On/Off(Don't remember if there was this one)! Would it be allowed for this speedrun if I turn Off heat? Well you most probably then wouldn't think of this as an incredible run no matter how it would have been played!

1. Would it be allowed for this speedrun if I turn Off heat?
2. Well you most probably then wouldn't think of this as an incredible run no matter how it would have been played! 1. I would prefer that you did not use that particular "option". I would rather you play the game on "easy" difficultly, rather than using the "no heat", "invulnerability", and "unlimited ammo" options which are available in the retail game menu. 2. My opinion is directly related to the resolution and frame-rate of the captured video, in addition to "completeness". It actually has little to do with game mechanics. However, it would be nice if your speed-run was submissible to, and accepted by, SDA.

Those three options Tycho102 mention in answer 1 are not allowed in speedruns, as they were unlockable options/cheat codes in previous Mechwarrior games.

A recent run of THUG2 was put up on SDA. Though it wasn't an improvement over the old normal run, I had talked with the runner earlier and it was agreed it'd still conform to my requirements for the bounty. I'd just like to post here stating that I have paid this bounty off, and the runner can confirm it =)
I'd also like to offer up several more bounties:
Kengo: Legend of the 9 - just a pure speed run of the main game with any character.
Drill Dozer - any%. I dunno if this one will even work though, does it work fine with a Gameboy Player? I'm wondering if the added rumble affects those things...
Fatal Frame - just a pure speed run.
Call of Duty 3 (360/PS3) - story mode run. Two bounties for this one - an easy/normal difficulty run for $25 and a veteran run for $50. I'd really like to see if a veteran speed run is even possible =P
All bounties are $25 except for the CoD3 veteran run. If you're interested, please contact me through e-mail (hexrapper[at]gmail.com) before PMing me here as I frequently check my e-mail yet am only here every now and then.
