Thanks guys. I think there are still a few seconds to shave off here and there but I was pleased how it went as well.
Yes, once I stopped disbanding the party members and just went straight for Balkoth things are much smoother. With the game speed at 30, it is tough to get rid of them all and be ready for the next turn. I guess I had just made up in my mind that there was a better chance Balkoth would only have 2 units with him =) I'm glad it is not needed. It did not seem to make a difference in the chance that he would either way. Balkoth joining up with the cavalry riders or entering a buildng or anything else other than just being the desired battle just seems random. What ever he chooses to do just before the third turn starts determines the chance for a successful run.
I have learned to only record the part of the screen I need with Camtasia, no more editing out the rest of my desktop that shows through, hehe. I have not seen a water mark yet but I'll look harder and pay attention next time.
Some questions of mine: How do you think the game would be timed? Most games, the rule is when you gain first control over your character(s). Would that be as soon as I press the "Ok" button as the world appears? What about the ending point? The moment the final death blow is delivered or as the combat screen exits to the final movie? Since we can skip that final movie do we need to and move on to the credits asap?
Have you tried updating sound drivers, Ranti? I can't think of anything else other than just playing with the sound recording options in each program that could help.

It would end once the final blow was dealt.

I gain first control at 9.47 seconds in as best as I can tell. The last blow starts at 54.20 when the stealth is broken and lasts until 54.40 when the corpse hits the ground. 44.93 seconds, not too bad hehe.

Fulgore, do you have an actual sound card or just an integrated chip? I have the latter so I wonder if that's the problem.
If he sees you, he tends to use Locust on you and then attack (if you're in reach). I've noticed that maybe 20-30% of the time a calvary joins him when I play xD.

Integrated sound in my laptop.
20-30% seems about the same rate for me too. I wonder how lucky we need to get the Balkoth and lizard rider fight.
Have you tried the Legends of Urak quests? I have done the Fire and Secret quests so far. I used a guide for the Fire quest. It was quite difficult even with the guide. The Siegfried quest (the dot in the very center of the lord selection screen) I was able to do on my own, I couldn't find a guide anyway. It was definately easier, if a bit longer.

I've completed the Order (Merlin/Arthur) quest, started the others at some point and got a ways into the Earth and Siegfried ones (although I couldn't find the pass in Sigfried :\).
Hrm...I'll see about updating the drivers of my two systems. If you are using an intergrated sound chip then mine should work too x_x.
I'm fine with you submitting the run though if I can have my name on it somewhere xD.
