One of the things that most sets SDA apart is the verification process. Mike has now made a special board dedicated to verification, which mostly goes over the decisions. A quick check of the verification thread shows that some runs have been neglected, and the odds of fixing this shrink a little each day. To copy/paste what I said in another thread: "I think it's honestly close to issue #1 for SDA, because if someone new ever submits a run and it doesn't get verifiers, that person won't be motivated to submit again. Let alone all the runs that were aborted because someone mistakenly thought it wouldn't get verifiers." My goal is for us to hopefully one day get rid of all the entries in the verification thread. Without getting into details that have been covered elsewhere, there are possible verifiers who never actually do it for various reasons. One is neglecting or forgetting about the thread, so check it again and see what you've beaten. I too have been guilty in the past of not offering to verify something that I could have, out of sheer laziness. If you have the means, please contribute a bit of your time and help us out! ( Here's how to contact Mike.) You don't need to be a speedrunner or a great player yourself to verify. Don't be afraid! We will work with you, especially if you are new. However, I want to emphasize that we are not relaxing our standards one bit. Of course, you have to have actually beaten the game, but other issues such as poor English should not be discouraging you from becoming a verifier. Our goal is to find some of the people who were previously qualified but too intimidated to offer verification help, and convince them that their help is valued. It starts here. I know that most of the games in the thread ought to be able to get verifiers, as they are not that obscure, so let's do it.

and Ace Combat Zero now has enough verifiers. Wow. First Dawn of Mana, now Ace Combat Zero. What's next? We're gonna find verifiers for Clock Tower 3? ^^;;

   The old run danced around with the [Mana Goddess] for a minute. In the new one, the runner kills [her] with 3 hits in 8 seconds. Holy shit. - Verifier's comment about Legend of Mana - Dragon Storyline v4.

Verify or else I kill your first son. Yeah we're getting biblical here.
If you don't have a son, then your left nut, which is like a son to most guys.
If you're not a guy, I'm really surprised you're even here.
