I know a 12-15 second oob route for 18, but my computer sucks too much to record and play at the same time. If anyone is interested, I can pm them a video of the route taken from video camera, but it's not good enough quality for a run

This is the casual board, so video camera quality videos are fine to link to. No videos are fine too if you can get an accurate time.

The door opens automatically, so you don't have to Portal bump. But now my times on both chambers are even.

single-sitting 30 min exactly
single sitting means that I did use segments, but all of the playing counts against my time.
Please CHANGE: It was not single segment; it was single sitting. I beat it in that amount of time using saves/loads, but every second of playtime, including every "bad" segment still counted. Basically, I set a stop watch at beginning of control and stopped at end of control.

you could maybe include steps and portals challenges...

Gimme some time, I'm not online every day. Basically, I set a stop watch at beginning of control and stopped at end of control.
IIRC timing stops after destroying the last orb. Chamber 15 0:17 I assume that's OoB? edit: Wait, did you do chamber 15 like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XymcxOZcWHU&feature=response_watchThat's just insane Oo

Yeah it was OoB. My best non OoB is about 23 seconds. That video in 15 seconds is just insane though...unbelievable even. Looks almost like what Transgenic did with frame advance. The part around ~10 seconds just seems too fast for someone to be able to pull off. It could definitely be real, but I saw a video by someone that finished chamber 15 (without OoB) in 20 seconds, and even that is really hard to pull off.
Edit: All of his other times are way too good as well. I'm going to call frame advance on the videos unless he can prove it's legit.

The same here, first I was impressed, but later I thought that the reactions are too fast, even if it was a segmented run. Added your inbounds 23 seconds to the list. I swear, chamber 15 is not my chamber, improved my time by only one second. But how come your chamber 18 time is only 59 seconds? Maybe we're using different routes? I'm using the door to the chamber with the turrets and the cube to edge-glitch, wich is much more consitent in a SS.

Yeah, Kingpin (or KingpinSYD or something, can't remember) on youtube has a run of chamber 15 in 20 seconds, which is still very fast. His run is done in such a way that it doesn't look unnaturally fast though, just extremely good control. As far as I can remember, it didn't incorporate the portal bump past the first glass wall, so if he could manage to pull that off while retaining the quality of his 20 second run...it still would be around 18-19 seconds I imagine. So...almost positive all of Stimich's times aren't legit. Btw, Kingpin's route is what I used to get :23 non OoB on chamber 15. If you want to improve chamber 15, I'd recommend looking for that video. The hardest part of getting a good non OoB time on chamber 15 is getting over the second glass wall thing... And I realize that my 18 time is crappy compared to yours lol, I'll probably try it a bit today once I'm done with my classes. What edge glitch using the cube are you referring to? I always just edge glitch using that area kinda near the start. Oh, and I can almost never pull off that trick with skipping one of the "steps" near the end Edit: Just got :48 on 18 using that trick at the end. Care to explain your route for 18? I know where I'm losing a lot of time but :42 still seems good :O Oh yeah, and my :17 seconds on chamber 16 was with OoB.
