Soul Reaver 2 (looking for people who would watch this)

So the run I made for SDA is good enough. As I promised I`ll try to make another speed run of this franchise which will be Soul Reaver 2. But here`s one big problem (for me and for you who would watch this).

This game don`t allow to skip cutscenes (I thought it could but then I found out it wasn`t "skip cutscene" button but "dark chronicle" button). On the other hand you can skip some fights which is gooooood (I hated it in Defiance run).

 So is there anyone still interested in this run? I`m actually less interested in making it but if you give me the vote to go for it I`ll try to do it.

This project will take longer than the Defiance speedrun (I have to prepare for my master of siecnce exam ;/ ), so please be patient.

I won`t record any segment untill my Defiance run will be posted (200 GB of Raw files don`t allow me to make new videos), but I tried the first segment (saving in this game is puuuuure asssss) and it should be around 23 min (most of the time are cutscenes... fffffffff..)

So.. anyone still interested?

PS: And I didn`t mention controls? OH FUCK !! (but I love crappy games (hello AVGN) so I should be ok ;p) I know that Water and Doors will be my biggest enemies ;/

I'm up for it, and don't compare games AVGN takes for reviews and SR2 For some reason it does offend me.

Besides I would love to see this run exactly because the cutscenes are unskippable. Best narration/dialogues in the whole series for me.

Now I definitely want to see this! This is my best LoK franchise excluding original game! Honestly I was waiting untill someone will finally post this Thanks and I hope to see this sooner or later

And to let you know I REALLY NEED HELP WITH FIGHTING(it`s FUCKING (don`t know how to say it otherwise) impossible for me to predict how the blows I deal will land (you`ll see that in those videos))

I just can't stop feeling the coolness of the script and dialogues

Btw, suggestion about fighting - have You tried attacking without locking on? It helped me a lot even when I was just casually completing the game. It didn't feel as stiff as lock-on and Raziel could attack many enemies at the same time, while running past and doing the same again.

I feel teased
Pity that I played this quite a while ago and I can't hint you in any way. But I remember that my fighting improved through progress of a game and later it involved running in circles around the enemy and stabbing him to death. It looked fast and dynamic but I can't tell if it really was the quickest way and will help you in your run. Not to mention avoiding fights wherever possible.

Anyway, I'm waiting for this story to continue and refresh my memories

Of course, there are many and many cutscenes at the beginning of the game, but it's better from light temple to the end. But I agree : that is a bit boring to do the speedrun, and to watch this speedrun. Anyway, i'll watch it if it's done

I don't agree with You here. This isn't a game like HL2 where everything is being cut short and almost every chapter has something - WOW - going on. In a dynamic speedrun like that a cutscene does feel a bit slow, here - I don't think so.

Besides I honestly want this run because of two things:

1. There has to be a SR2 run on SDA (SR1 is live, Defiance post-production , BO2 production);
2. I just LOVE the story.

I watched these 3 videos with immense pleasure. I'm really looking forward for the whole run.
