Released in July 2009 and developed by Anna Anthropy, When Pigs Fly is a small Flash game in the form of fixed screens, featuring ? take care - a pig with flying abilities who accidentally fell into a cave through a narrow orifice. The gameplay, unusual, is based on the following principle: the character goes up when the SPACE key (or Z) is pressed, and goes down when it is released, while directional keys allow a classical lateral movement. Will the angelic creature be able to make her way through that Underdark, while preserving its wings from any fatal contact?

Not much to say about this speedrun. Even though this game is very short, finishing it without losing * a single life * was not a piece of cake. The run has a few mistakes, notably beating my wings too many times (1m46s and 2m34s) and unnecessary "landings" (51s and 2m25s). Also, a couple of scares (15s, 1m23s, and 2m11s notably). Finally, this attempt is not the most visually appealing, but it is the only one having come off without a hitch, making it the best by definition; even though it is still possible to gain another couple seconds (probably not more than 3 or 4). You might also notice the characters movements becoming a bit tense in the last part of the game.
