• The contest is being run on the id classic e2m6, the Dismal Oubliette. There will be two disciplines contested: Easy Run and Nightmare 100%.
• What's that you say? E2M6 NH is too difficult? Well for this contest you must use this progs. We've made a few slight... modifications. ;-)
• For the Easy Run you must extend the bridge to the oubliette. (That's the room with the sinking floor that leads to the exit). You do NOT need to pick up the rune. And, of course, you should play on skill 0.
• For the Nightmare 100% you MUST pick up the rune. Of course, you must get all kills and secrets as well, and you have to play on skill 3.
• The Winner in each category will be the person who exits in the fastest time.
• Name your files in this format: dismal_er/nh_yourname.dem, dismal_er/nh_yourname.txt. For example, an Easy Run demo might be called dismal_er_wilhelm.dem

As was expected, almost all players followed pretty much the same route, so the difference was in the detail. And when it comes to detail Timo "Mr Detail" Nieminen is about as detailed as they come. Marvin and Mandel were both less than half a second slower with everyone else not far behind. Good boosting everyone!

The Nightmare 100% proved to be the fun gib-fest we were expecting, and Martin Selinus out gibbed everyone by a healthy margin. It was good to see such a variety of routes, too, so be sure to watch all the demos to get the maximum pleasure from this orgy of gibs.
