Wow! A respectable 13 entries to this bunnyful contest implies that we did something right this time. The fastest 5 entries all reach (and keep) speeds of 500 of more, but the top prize goes to the man who was speed-preservin' all over the place; Tom Nguyen! I guess that means this is his first psuedo-ID record and also his first contest win, so three cheers for him! All in all, the routes did not vary so much (as was expected); it boiled down to careful bunny placement and sheer acceleration.
All demos display some kind of bunnying prowess, except perhaps for unlucky Johannes Kröger, who is beaten on decimals by the original e1m1_021 by Peter Horvath. ;) Thanks for submitting, whether intending to win or not. A few eggs were also sent in; Jonathan Lenhardt completing the 100% and Cheated Run, and myself (that's Lag) playing the map on some very silly settings. Flavio also sent in an 'egg' which shows him completing a slightly different route (one I was using originally) in a very fast time indeed.
All contest demos are available here.
There have been mutterings of another contest soon...
