Stylaphone's Speedpack

It's time for another contest, and not just any contest, but a mini-championship contest!

There's a total of four maps and five cateogries, and we'll award 10 points for a win, 9 for second place, 8 for third place, all the way down to 1 point for 10th place. We'll also award 1 point for those finishing outside the top 10. Should someone win all categories, a maximum of 50 points will be awarded.

UPDATE: Due to a "secret" route being found faster than anticipated, "The Work Site" Easy Run will now be split into two categories. The Full Route and The Secret Route. The Full Route consists of both buttons being pressed and passing through the door they open. The Secret Route... well, that's a secret.

NOTE: There's 3 points up for grabs for doing the Secret Route the fastest, 2 points for being second, and 1 point for being 3rd. The points for the Full Route will stay unchanged.

    After the contest has ended, we'll be adding the maps to the SDA tables as regular maps with the winner in each cateogry as the current record holder.

    IMPORTANT NOTE: These maps will only run with version v0.17.0 (or later) of JoeQuake that allows for BSP2/2PSB map support, so make sure you download it if you haven't already by clicking here.

    1. The contest will end Midnight CET, Sunday, March 28th, 2021.

    3. Name your demo(s) and the accompanying text file(s) like this:

    Should someone want to do the other SDA categories, we will accept these demos starting on Monday, March 29th. Please do not send them before.



    I was fairly convinced we'd get some really good demos, but these far exceeded my expectations. Wow, just WOW! Conny snagged the grand prize by placing himself almost 1st on every map, but also by actually doing all 6 contests. All the winning demos are highly spectacular, and it was good to see so many different runners taking up the challenge.
