Reaper Rules?
Ouch, tons of email asking about the Reaper contest rules. Here's what
you're supposed to do:
1) download Reaper
bot.
2) start game (quake -game rbot -listen 16)
3) Use "maxplayers 16" (you're allowed to have only 8 bots though!)
4) Use "skill 0" (easy skill)
5) Use "timelimit 3"
6) bind <key> "impulse 208 ; wait ; wait ; wait ; impulse 208" (brings
eight bots to the game)
7) bind <key> "record frag dm4"
8) Get the quad :)

Yeah, here goes two quality Reaper bot contest entries: Juha 'Brillo'
Ihalainen gibbed a total 102 bots in his
great demo. Not far behind Juha fights Archi with a 99-frag demo.
Great stuff...
Small .QWD demos
Just about an hour ago we spent some time with Jesse playing QW. After
a while we desided to record some demos in DM3... These are like easter
eggs for the "Dm3 in 54 seconds" contest. Jesse is a great cameraman :)

like Jesse as a cameraman) in which I did a weird double RJ at e1m7. You

Underworld rules?
After a little discussion with Adam Hegyi from COMPET-N about the underworld
rules. Instead of UV run you should use "skill 1" which is much better
(easier?) for speedrunning the map. You'll have to record your MAX demos
on UV skill though. All Doom2 players grab the
map and go have some "fun" :-)
Btw, another way to have fun is to try the new "Gotcha!" contest at
COMPET-N...
