![]() The Mining Complex Finally, my first proper Single Player map for Quake is finished. Download it now! This map took quite a while to create and I really hope you like it... As you can see from the screenshot above, the level is done in base style, using id- and hipnotic textures. Feedback is more than welcome, please send me your comments :) Oh yes, there's also a speedrun contest for the map. There are three categories: Easy run, Nightmare 100% and a special task. Lots of stuff in the map done again, apparently even more yet to be done. I could've never guessed how many things can go wrong when building a large SP map. One of those are leaks that actually don't exist (?). Spent three hours trying to find one; pointfile did not help at all. Well, I had to use very large brushes in Worldcraft to spot the 'leak' and make the brushes smaller and smaller until the bad area was found. The only solution seemed to be to build the area totally again. Fortunately that helped. Enough "bla bla bla"... Here goes yet another screenshot. Hope you like
