Just got interested in Doom2 speedrunning and made a table for it. It's almost empty now, but hopefully I have enough motivation to fill it a bit soon ;-) BTW, deadline for "Get down into the mines" -Doom2 contest is 12nd December. extra Easter egg for Grenades

| Get into the Mines!
Here it goes, a DOOM2 competition. Yes, I must be mad. Anyways, the idea is to run one of my old maps, Mines, on Ultraviolence skill. You don't have to care about kills or anything, just run. Although there's no need to kill the monsters,
I just recorded a 100% of Mines 5:40, in which I show all the secrets and
kill the monsters. That mine-540.lmp is included in the mines.zip, and
it's definately NOT speedrunning! :)

| New entry for e2m1 contest
Alexander "Muriel" Osipov sent me 8.94 for e2m1 contest. He claims that nobody will ever get 0:07, perhaps he is right? ;-) ROTW at SDA
I know it sounds strange, the previous record in e4m1 was 0:24. There's a really wacky new trick... Get the demos from SDA. New Demos

| Quality stuff
I've already received many good demos for the Grenade contest. I won't post the demos before 28th, but the competition is very tight. In all the demos there are cool grenade jumps, very enjoyable to watch. Thanks for all the demos and good luck for further improvements :) |

Grenade contest Ehehehe.. got bored and built a short custom map in 1 hour. Get it HERE. The idea is to run this map as fast as u can killing the both monsters and "finding" the secret on easy skill. You must use QdQStats when recording. Yeah, I know the level sucks but so what. Send me your demos as soon as you've done them and rename them to "gren_<your time>".dem. Zip the demos, thanks. The contest deadline is November 28th. Have fun :) |

| Three new entries
e2m1 contest is getting more popular. Chris improved his previous demo by 0.20 seconds and got 8.54. Attila and Optic both did a demo of 8.74. (the demo is Attila's) Sorry Optic, I've lost your demo please send it again :( For those who don't know the rules yet, check the contest section. Thanks for the demos. Hopefully we'll get more people in, and good luck for further improvements :) |

| First e2m1 contest demos
Chris sent me a nice demo of e2m1 getting 8.74. I also did a demo for it some days ago and got 8.49. Anyone else have enough skills to get 8? :) Chthon, dead.

| ROTW news +stuff
Haven't updated for a while, too lazy and busy with school (yeah right ;). Anyways, the usual ROTW contest -e2m5 without RL- in SDA ended some days ago, which I won getting a time of 38.3 :) Peter and Burninsun were pretty close getting 39. both. The new contest has been up for a couple of days : "e1m6, skill 0, activate the gold key bridge, run to exit", yes it's simple and easy. So go RUN! E2M1 in seven seconds. Ridiculous!?
