Your nickname (story behind it)?

No tough-sounding nickname. I'd better make one up. "blade-slasher", or "death-killer" or "christ-puncher" or something.

Your Quake config (key bindings, etc.)?

wasd, with weapons bound around those keys. Mouse to fire, shift to jump, and I use m_filter 1, sv_aim 1, and occasionally r_fullbright 1

Size of Quake directory on your HD?

2 gigs! mostly maps and demos

Your computer (processor/videocard etc.)?

As of early '04 it's a G4 mac

Quake settings (resolution, version etc.)?

Gl macquake.

First contact to speedrunning (when, how etc.)?

Got given a cd of quake which had qdqwav on it - that blew me away!

h3m1_042 is a nice run. And I like dm4x_010 EH for the sheer luck involved.

Every trick is cool - that's why the game is so fun! I think maybe Stubby's NH of e2m6 has some of the most impressive and unique tricks in a single demo.

The Rabbit Run / DOTG. QD100%Qlite2 will also be pretty amazing when it's done.

all of the "CZG" maps, especially czg07b

Most annoying monster/map?

all mosters are annoying when you're trying to make them behave a certain way :8 map, I'd say e2m6

Do you like Doom/Quake2/Q3A?

Doom was cool, and I played through quake 2, it was OK. Haven't played Q3

What do you think of Quake now?

the best (and only) computer game I play.
