[21:01:23] * dex| approaches the stage slowly [21:01:28] * mandel|mmm (~mandel|mm@gprs2.vodafone.se) has joined #nolans [21:01:34] * NahkahiiR tries to catch up. [21:01:43] * NahkahiiR slips and falls. [21:01:45] * dex| smiles [21:01:53] * NahkahiiR stands up. [21:01:58] * dex| picks up one mic for himself and hands a second one to NahkahiiR [21:02:05] Ladies and Gentlemen. [21:02:07] Welcome! [21:02:18] Here's the event you've been waiting whole year for. [21:02:25] The most important event in the Quake speedrunning world. [21:02:32] The sixth annual SDA/QdQ speedrunning academy awards.... [21:02:35] Nolans 2006! [21:02:44] Thanks to everyone who joined the show, we are proud to give you this years Nolans :) [21:02:49] But without further rambling... [21:02:52] Nolans 2006 winners! [21:03:03] The first category is the one that goes by the name of ID runs, both NR and ER. [21:03:13] We had to make them both one category because there were too little demos for two, we wouldn't want that to happen next year *hint hint* [21:03:23] The contenders for this noble prize were: [21:03:34] The precise e2m5_033 NR by Jozsef Szalontai [21:03:38] The smooth e2m7_030 ER by Connor Fitzgerald [21:03:43] The awesome e3m5_056 NR by Mathias Thore [21:03:50] The insane e3m7_040 ER by Thomas Stubgaard [21:03:56] And the bunnyhoppy e4m7_042 ER by Arturo Garcia Lasca [21:04:04] And the winner of this category is not really a big surprise... [21:04:13] The insane e3m7_040 ER by insane Thomas Stubgaard! [21:04:18] Step on up, Stubby! [21:04:23] * dex| sets mode: +v Stubgaard [21:04:44] * Stubgaard tries to fart silently while approaching the stage [21:04:56] ahem [21:04:58] well [21:05:14] e3m7 ER is one of the demos that I'm most proud of [21:05:28] the "houdini" trick with the ogre in the narrow hallway is so rare it took me years to finally get it [21:05:46] I would still be kicking myself in the head to this day if I hadn't made it through alive to the exit and without any fuckups [21:06:04] It was one of those "this is the only chance you'll ever get to succeed with this trick, so don't fuck it up" demos :-) [21:06:19] * Stubgaard moons the crowd [21:06:26] * Stubgaard steps away from the mike [21:06:30] Thank you Stubgaard. [21:06:33] * dex| sets mode: -v Stubgaard [21:06:48] Before the 100% ID categories, time for the first "player" award. To be specific, Rookie of the Year! [21:06:56] And so, welcome the first guest of the night.... [21:07:03] Basil de Vries! :) [21:07:07] step on up Orbs :) [21:07:10] * NahkahiiR sets mode: +v Orbs [21:07:12] But without further rambling... and then giving me voice? That makes little sense to me. [21:07:33] still very proud to present a catagory in this years Nalons! [21:08:05] i think its a sign of quality that this catagory actualy still is recent [21:08:12] the games is so sold by now [21:08:36] and still there are people mad enough to spend much time and effort to master it [21:08:53] master it in away i wil never do even after all these years [21:09:04] So who are this years new heros? [21:09:14] one is presenting this crap: dex [21:09:23] and the others: tbh i dont know them [21:09:35] and unfortunalty none of put up a profile [21:09:59] from all this great new blood personaly for me two are standing out: [21:10:08] dex and ginko [21:10:23] both hve the skills fluency and speed to master id's [21:10:32] but only one winner [21:10:35] and it was close! [21:10:44] (i have no clue but that sounds good) [21:10:48] :) [21:11:01] in WW2 enigma style: Rookie of the year: DEX!!!! [21:11:12] * Kenatwork (~abc123x@200.88.8.75) has joined #nolans [21:11:16] (complete suprise to him ofc) [21:11:17] Uhh, well, yeah it was pretty close. [21:11:35] What can I say? Thank you for all the votes. [21:11:49] GinKo deserved the prize as much or even more than I did. [21:12:02] oh and i just watched that e4m8 again it is a sweet demo..to bad the e4m4 is crap;) [21:12:11] Too bad he isn't here, I would congratulate him for end demo :) [21:12:21] And yeah, e4m4 is crap! [21:12:32] I'll get around to making the e4m8 even better :) [21:12:35] watched my route i geuss? :P [21:12:47] hehe, well, thanks for that Basil :) [21:13:05] * dex| sets mode: -v Orbs [21:13:15] Thanks, Basil! [21:13:30] Time for the "Best Marathon" category. Jaakko "Lazy Bum NahkahiiR" Alakopsa will present that one. [21:13:36] The contenders were: [21:13:44] e3_227 ER2 by Mathias Thore and Thomas Stubgaard [21:13:54] h1_539 EH2 by Evan Wagner and Justin Fleck [21:14:05] jzb_039 ER by Mathias Thore [21:14:14] pg_840 EH by Jaakko Alakopsa [21:14:15] ...lazy bum... [21:14:23] And tr_212 ER by Jonathan Lenhardt [21:14:33] The winning demo is... [21:14:43] jzb_039! Come up, Mathias. :) [21:14:49] * NahkahiiR sets mode: +v mandel|mmm [21:15:26] he he thanks. i liked running jz [21:15:43] if you liked watching, [21:16:04] you're up for a surprise soon. [21:16:11] thanks. [21:16:26] Thanks Mandel! [21:16:30] * dex| sets mode: -v mandel|mmm [21:16:40] And now back to the ID front. [21:16:46] * WarKosign (~none@82.166.133.134.biu-dynamic.barak-online.net) has joined #nolans [21:16:49] Right. Time for the easy 100% ID category. The contenders.... [21:17:05] e3m3_049 by Stubgaard, e3m7_127 by Stubgaard, (sucky) e4m4_153 by Karol Urbanski, e4m7_153 by Aleksander Osipov and end_035 by Stubgaard. [21:17:15] One of the three awards you're up for dex. :) [21:17:36] Right...but that demo is crap :). Anyway, the fight for this category was very, very hard fought between two demos. Most incidentally, both are already beaten. [21:17:55] In the fight between e4m7_153 and end_035, one of the demos won by mere one vote... [21:18:08] And so, Stubby gets a second trophy today, for the end_035! [21:18:24] * NahkahiiR sets mode: +v Stubgaard [21:18:30] Anything to add? :) [21:18:47] * Stubgaard clears his throat [21:19:09] I guess this is one of the best and most innovative demos ever I've done [21:19:38] too bad it's been beating by a "not so very pretty (read: ugly) demo... sorry Flavio (waves to Flavio and realizes that he isn't here...) :-) [21:19:55] * Stubgaard hides behind the stage [21:20:06] * dex| sets mode: -v Stubgaard [21:20:12] Thanks again Stubgaard. [21:20:28] For the last SP ID category, the fight was fierce and lasted till the very end. [21:20:38] This category requires SOME balls. [21:20:51] So, lets get going. The nominees for this were: [21:21:03] e1m6_048 by the oldschool legend, Peter Horvath [21:21:13] e3m1_129 by insane Thomas Stubgaard [21:21:23] e4m3_348, again by Thomas Stubgaard [21:21:33] e4m8_503 also by Thomas Stubgaard [21:21:47] And end_055, by, you guessed it, Thomas Stubgaard. [21:21:55] Did Stubby dominate all the ID SP categories getting the NH prize? [21:22:00] ...nope. [21:22:09] Peter Horvath's e1m6_048 takes this Nolan! [21:22:18] Unfortunately, Peter couldn't attend. He left a message in case he won though. [21:22:24] * dex| is now known as devil_himself [21:22:38] I wanted to take my demo back from Connor in a uniqe route, but after I found a trigger which can not be skipped at silver door I had to be satisfied with record on a very similar route. [21:23:02] If the route I had in mind had worked, then I could have matched or even improved the EH time once again! (Just like in my :53) [21:23:11] And thanks for all votes :)) [21:23:19] * devil_himself is now known as dex| [21:23:38] Time for custom episode demos! Both the run and 100% will be presented by Mr. Come-and-go-as-he-damn-well-pleases. That's right, Paul "Lag.Com" Davies! [21:23:41] * NahkahiiR sets mode: +v LagDotCom [21:23:49] Heh, hey guys. Sorry about... March? :) [21:24:17] Actually, I wanted to present the Episode rewards because I was a mite annoyed nobody voted for my fantastic r2m2 demos... [21:24:26] * LagDotCom rants [21:24:44] * dex| clears throat loudly [21:24:46] Eh, forget all that. The demos that -were- up are fine indeed! [21:25:02] Let's do Runs first. [21:25:20] czg07b_037 was quite the shock when I saw it, huge map, tiny route. :) [21:25:32] The others I forgot, so I'll just say the names, haha. jzb2_009 by Arturo Garcia Lasca [21:25:54] jzb4_008 also by Mandel (forgot that, czg07b was too. Gah!) [21:26:08] m6_121 by Aleksander Osipov (not too many demos this year so far!) [21:26:22] And, yeah, r2b_020, Mathias again there [21:26:36] Very close fought battle, here. [21:26:44] So close, there was actually a tie... sort of! [21:27:13] czg07b_037 and rd2b_020 both received equal votes... but they're both Mandel's [21:27:27] So, have another Nolan, Mandel. :) [21:27:32] * dex| sets mode: +v mandel|mmm [21:27:40] wow [21:28:24] thanks for letting me fight a draw with myself! [21:28:29] :) [21:28:31] :) [21:28:47] :) [21:28:55] jz4 was the hardest one though :) [21:29:30] Make sure you beat yourself next time. [21:29:33] but i thank you all. [21:29:50] Thank you Mandel. [21:29:58] * dex| sets mode: -v mandel|mmm [21:30:23] So, onto the 100%s. Quite a large range on times there! [21:30:41] h3m3_153 by Aleksander Osipov (he wasn't JUST doing coops last year) [21:30:53] jzb2_016 by Martin Selinus (way too short for a 100%) [21:31:05] m6_208, also by Aleksander [21:31:17] pg3_250 by our very own Jaakko Alakopsa on the mic [21:31:23] :) [21:31:41] * Valeriy (~prooof@80.249.152.128) Quit (Ping timeout) [21:31:42] and of course, tr1_129 by Thomas Bergendorff (I hope you like watching intermission view) [21:32:02] Yeah, I actually watched it all. At normal speed. [21:32:13] True story! [21:32:33] However, that teeny tiny demo won. Congratulations, Martin! [21:32:45] Er, where is he? [21:32:49] Hmm, seems he didn't join. [21:33:26] * LagDotCom coughs and looks generally embarrassed [21:33:31] It looks like Marvin ain't here to take the prize, oh well. [21:33:31] I didn't go on that long, did I? [21:33:59] I'm sure he would call you all sweet though (references ahoy) [21:34:04] I'm sure he'll turn up later and say ":)" [21:34:12] Probably so :) [21:34:20] Well, that's all from me. See you in another 4 months. [21:34:29] thanks Lag. And don't you go hiding again :P [21:34:35] * dex| sets mode: -v LagDotCom [21:34:46] And now, let's get done with all coop categories. [21:34:57] The first coop to be awarded is the ID coop category. [21:35:08] And the nominees were: [21:35:17] e1m1_023 NR2 by Mathias Thore and Thomas Stubgaard [21:35:25] e1m4_042 EH2 by Mathias Thore and Thomas Stubgaard [21:35:38] e1m8ng_055 NH2 by Jonny Andersson & Daniel Andersson [21:35:51] e2m6_113 ER2 by Mathias Thore and Thomas Stubgaard [21:36:09] And last but not least - e3m5_031 ER2 by Mathias Thore and Thomas Stubgaard - these two again. [21:36:24] All these were great demos but there was a demo which totally exploded the bank. [21:36:33] *drumroll* [21:36:41] e1m1_023 NR by Mathias Thore and Thomas Stubgaard! Well done both of you, join the stage. [21:36:46] * dex| sets mode: +v mandel|mmm [21:36:50] * dex| sets mode: +v Stubgaard [21:37:07] Anything to add? :] [21:37:19] * Stubgaard runs past mandel|mmm to get to the stage first [21:37:36] want me to do the honors? [21:37:55] meeting stubby and lodis was one of the best weeks i've ever had [21:38:33] good thing you guys liked our demos! [21:38:42] I've always wanted to have this record, and when Mathias (and lodis) decided to visit me last summer, this was the first demo we had a go at [21:38:51] thanks again:) [21:38:55] we actually got 0:23 quite fast, but due to an annoying 60 fps issue, we had to re-record the demo [21:39:05] yeah, thanks a bunch [21:39:12] * Stubgaard moons mandel|mmm [21:39:25] Thank you, gentlemen. :) [21:39:26] beautiful [21:39:30] * dex| sets mode: -v mandel|mmm [21:39:32] * dex| sets mode: -v Stubgaard [21:39:46] Ok, let's move on, next up we have coop Runs. [21:40:00] Contenders: ev1_038 ER2 by Jonny Andersson and Carl Tholin [21:40:12] h1m5_037 ER2 by Jaakko Alakopsa and Aleksander Osipov [21:40:27] hhou_040 ER2 by Jaakko Alakopsa and Paul Davies [21:40:27] m6_111 ER2 by Aleksander Osipov & Jaakko Alakopsa [21:40:44] and tr2_033 ER2 by Mathias Thore & Jaakko Alakopsa [21:41:02] And the winners for this category are... [21:41:15] ev1_038 ER2 by Jonny Andersson and Carl Tholin, congratulations! [21:41:41] As they aren't here with us now, I wish them making more demos like this in the near future! [21:42:15] Because there were so many madcoops last year, it was decided to separate them from other coops. [21:42:31] But before that, we take on coop 100% demos. [21:42:46] Nominees being: 2r5_048 NH2 by Jaakko Alakopsa and Anders Nordensten [21:43:00] h3m3_117 EH2 by Jaakko Alakopsa and Aleksander Osipov [21:43:12] m2_018 EH2 by Jaakko Alakopsa & Paul Davies [21:43:24] m6_148 NH2 by Aleksander Osipov and Jaakko Alakopsa [21:43:35] r2m6_219 EH2 by Michael Hudson & Richard Skidmore [21:43:52] The winners with wide margin compared to others are... [21:44:02] r2m6_219 EH2 by Michael Hudson & Richard Skidmore! [21:44:05] Come up, boys. :) [21:44:10] * NahkahiiR sets mode: +vv Morfans|gone mwh [21:44:24] this was a complete surprise to me :) [21:44:36] Orbs will be happy, it's certainly not an optimizers demo [21:44:47] * mwh is now known as Morfans [21:44:52] thank you my pretties [21:44:59] * Morfans is now known as mwh [21:45:17] the NH was better anyway :) [21:45:38] thank you for my first nolan [21:45:51] Thanks for co-operation :) [21:45:54] * dex| sets mode: -v mwh [21:45:57] * dex| sets mode: -v Morfans|gone [21:46:13] Now we are finally presenting the last coop category, MADcoops! [21:46:27] The five candidates are - dmc2_027 NH4 by Mathias Thore, Paul Davies, Basil de Vries & Michael Hudson [21:46:40] e1m6_018 EH4 by Mathias Thore, Robert Maglic, Jaakko Alakopsa & Jozsef Szalontai [21:46:52] e3m1_045 NH3 by Daniel Hansson, Daniel Andersson & Jonny Andersson [21:47:03] e4m6_059 EH3 by Thomas Stubgaard, Mathias Thore & Thomas Bergendorff [21:47:11] e4m7_051 EH4 by Jaakko Alakopsa, Aleksander Osipov, Paul Davies & Basil de Vries [21:47:29] The fight between 4 demos was fierce all the way through voting process. [21:47:43] The last vote decided it, that there wasn't only one winner, but two (2) winners!!! [21:47:58] e1m6_018 EH4 by Mathias Thore, Robert Maglic, Jaakko Alakopsa & Jozsef Szalontai and e4m6_059 EH3 Thomas Stubgaard, Mathias Thore & Thomas Bergendorff! [21:48:32] ! [21:48:33] Hahaha. [21:48:35] you guys go first [21:48:43] has anyone got a good denn quote in handy? [21:48:43] I was so sleepy while recording. [21:48:55] It was like playing my eyes closed. [21:49:03] But it was so fun! [21:49:03] cooping with jozsef was fun :) [21:49:05] Like usual? :P [21:49:12] You little bastard. :) [21:49:13] we spent a while trying to get under 1 minute, but we usually ended up with missing monsters [21:49:28] Thanks to Mandel, NahkahiiR and Jozsef for pulling an all-nighter. And thanks for all the votes! [21:49:30] thanks to a little discharge-trickery at the end we managed to get all the fuckers in this demo though :-) [21:49:53] is it me now? [21:49:58] sure [21:49:58] Sure, go on. :) [21:50:05] I wanna say thanks to mandel and stubby for letting me tag along on this demo, these two are cool guys in quake as in real life. cheers. [21:50:18] And this is also a goodbye for me, since I'm retiring from speedrunning (mind you, I have said these words before, and here I am). It was fun while it lasted, and I'll make sure I'll pop in everyonce in a while to keep in touch. [21:50:35] thanks thanks again :) [21:50:35] thanks boys and girls [21:51:03] Thank you all. :) [21:51:04] * Stubgaard cries [21:51:13] * dex| sets mode: -v Stubgaard [21:51:16] * lolfu ollar Stubgaard [21:51:16] * dex| sets mode: -v mandel|mmm [21:51:20] * dex| sets mode: -v Midas| [21:51:23] * dex| sets mode: -v lolfu [21:51:35] Before the custom level categories, time to present the best contest of the year. [21:51:57] Contenders: Kill Them All, The Slipgate Simplex, Shub's Old Pit, Around The World and Pyramid Caper. [21:52:10] Only 5 in 2006, hopefully we'll get more this year. :) [21:52:31] Your votes decided that we have two winners in this category! Shub's Old Pit and Kill Them All. [21:52:48] Do winners of those contests have anything to say about them? [21:52:50] * NahkahiiR sets mode: +vv Kenatwork mandel|mmm [21:53:10] i'm winned? beers. [21:53:26] hehe [21:53:37] Connor and GinKo also took wins, but they aren [21:53:40] 't here now. [21:53:44] :) [21:53:59] Yep. The contests were great fun though. [21:54:11] Thanks to guys who make them, and to winners as well :) [21:54:13] i guess i also arranged the converts :) [21:54:27] * dex| sets mode: -v mandel|mmm [21:54:29] * dex| sets mode: -v Kenatwork [21:54:43] And we're back to demos again, now the Custom Level Easy Run category. [21:55:04] Contenders for this prize were: dm3r_049 by Connor Fitzgerald, hdn_018 by Connor Fitzgerald, hor_024 by Arturo Garcia Lasca, lf4_011 by Arturo Garcia Lasca and pit_050 by Martin Selinus. [21:55:21] The votes were spread evenly until the last days, *4* demos were very, very close to getting the prize. But in the end, the winner by 2 votes iiiiis.... [21:55:31] dm3r_049 by Connor Fitzgerald! [21:55:37] Is he here? Damn. [21:55:52] Yeah, he couldn't attend, which is a shame. Give us more cool demos Connor :) [21:56:16] For the Easy 100%, the contenders were cb1_025 by Jonny Andersson, cda_458 by Thomas Stubgaard, dm3r_348 by Aleksander Osipov, eld_049 by Flavio Quadros and endp_015 by Mathias Thore. [21:56:34] All of those demos shown great aim and precision. However, the voters decided that Aleksander Osipov is the most precise of the contenders...dm3rmx demo again! [21:56:40] Step on up :) [21:56:42] * NahkahiiR sets mode: +v sidd_ [21:57:25] hmm :) [21:57:35] Let's wait a bit. :) [21:58:01] Hmm, looks like he ain't here :( [21:58:11] eh? [21:58:43] didnt think that i could win with such a long demo :) [21:59:07] took quite an effort to make a tablefiller that wouldnt get beat still [21:59:17] thanks for all that voted [21:59:20] :P [21:59:32] Thank you sidd! [21:59:35] * dex| sets mode: -v sidd_ [21:59:40] Thanks, hippie. :) [21:59:58] Now, lets move onto Custom Level Nightmare. First of course the run category. [22:00:20] And I tell you, it was very, very, VERY close. [22:00:42] Contenders: arun_009 by Arturo Garcia Lasca, cult_020 by Mathias Thore, f1m3_035 by Jonathan Lenhardt, rip_052 by Mathias Thore and wr11_018 by Arturo Garcia Lasca. [22:00:55] 20 minutes before the voting ended, 4 of those demos had exactly the same number of votes - 5. [22:01:12] Then, the last of the votes tipped the edge over to one demo. [22:01:24] The winner, by just a tiny vote made practically at the finish is... [22:01:32] cult_020 by Mathias Thore! [22:01:34] Step on the stage yet again :) [22:01:38] * NahkahiiR sets mode: +v mandel|mmm [22:01:43] * Marvin| (~Martin@81-236-237-55-no38.tbcn.telia.com) has joined #nolans [22:01:47] yeah but :) [22:02:15] he he what a triumphant year! [22:02:35] thanks for the votes again :) [22:02:56] Thank you, Mathias. :) [22:03:10] * dex| sets mode: -v mandel|mmm [22:03:19] Great, time for the final of the demo categories. [22:04:37] * dex| sets mode: +v Stubgaard [22:04:40] Do you have anything to add, or do you have enough? :) [22:04:50] aya caramba! [22:05:05] ehm [22:05:13] one of the few custom demos I did in 2006... [22:05:26] the battle at the end easily stands out as the coolest thing about this demo :-) [22:05:42] feels good to beat "the devil" [22:05:44] thanks [22:05:49] Thank you Stubby. [22:05:50] * Stubgaard waves to the crowd [22:05:57] * dex| sets mode: -v Stubgaard [22:06:08] We're getting pretty close to end...just three categories. [22:06:22] Now, Event of the Year! [22:06:31] You had the choice to vote for: [22:06:45] Paul "Lag.Com" Davies joins SDA. (And disappears, sneaky bastard) [22:06:55] SpeedCon 2006. [22:07:04] Quake done 100% Quick lite 2 release. [22:07:15] Quake done Double Quick lite release. [22:07:24] What got the most votes in this category was... [22:07:24] And 10th anniversary of Quake release. [22:07:34] Oops. [22:07:36] Quake done 100% Quick lite 2! [22:07:38] hehe [22:07:52] It was really a pleasurable watch, no surprise it got so many votes. :) [22:08:15] The time has come for the Player of the Year awards. [22:08:26] There were quite a few nominees. [22:08:36] Aleksander Osipov, Arturo Garcia Lasca, Connor Fitzgerald, Dmitry Dementjev, Jaakko Alakopsa, Karol Urbanski [22:08:43] ...last two completely objective!... [22:08:55] Mathias Thore, Paul Davies, Thomas Bergendorff and Thomas Stubgaard. [22:09:12] The winner was pretty clear. [22:09:25] And so, Thomas Stubgaard adds another Nolan to his trophy cabinet! [22:09:30] Speech! Speech! :) [22:09:32] * dex| sets mode: +v Stubgaard [22:09:58] hot diggidy damn [22:10:06] this is one of the big ones [22:10:25] i had actually written down something for this [22:10:30] let me copy and paste :) [22:10:50] I guess I won this award due to the amount of ID demos I did for both SDA and QdQ in 2006 [22:11:05] but I'd like to believe it's also because I've been part of the scene for so long and people might appreciate that I've been able to stay on top of my game for so many years... [22:11:18] thanks! it does mean a lot to get this award [22:11:42] Nice work this year, Stubgaard! [22:11:50] this year? [22:11:53] :) [22:11:56] Heck, all the time! [22:11:58] :) [22:12:00] :D [22:12:06] But don't go down yet. [22:12:19] And now, the last of them all. [22:12:32] Probably the most important award. [22:12:48] The award for lifetime achievements! [22:12:57] Previous years, we had all the greats join the winners of this truly noble prize. [22:13:07] Nolan 'Radix' Pflug. [22:13:12] Yonatan Donner. [22:13:18] Ilkka Kurkela. [22:13:24] Peter Horvath. [22:13:30] And Thomas Stubgaard. [22:13:42] The biggest names of the Quake Speedrunning scene. [22:13:52] And today, one of those greats will present the award for you. [22:13:59] Stubby, here you go again! [22:14:21] shall i announce the winner too? [22:14:26] Yes. [22:14:28] heh ok [22:14:48] my hero, Markus Taipale won this award [22:15:02] i've written down a little something about him [22:15:21] widely known for his super smooth bunnies [22:15:29] his constant "fighting against the fractions" [22:15:37] all of his trademark ID demos [22:15:48] - of which there are many considering how short a period he actually speedran - [22:16:01] and most importantly, his groundbreaking innovations, his fluid style and ability to push things to the next level [22:16:10] he was way ahead of his time [22:16:18] he made quite an impact on SDA, and he was an avid Quake done Quick contributer [22:16:27] one interresting fact is that he won all the 9 speedrunning contest he entered [22:16:39] - except for one in which he came second, not bad for a bunnyhopping Finn! [22:16:59] (and that contest he lost to peter "the devil" horvath) [22:17:11] his legacy remains proof that he was one of the best, if not THE best... [22:17:27] * Stubgaard steps away from the stage [22:17:37] * dex| cries [22:17:49] And so, the Nolans 2006 ceremony comes to end. [22:17:50] T..thanks for tthe speech Stubgaard. [22:20:13] i probably 100X as active didnt even get a nomination:) [22:20:23] accept a crappy coop [22:20:31] except [22:20:44] :) [22:20:46] isnt it time for a after nolan madcoop?
