Adam Hegyi | Posted - 1 October 2001 18:36 PST I could post a long answer here but the answer is pretty simple: we have no motivation to do it. The last DOOM QdQ project, DOOM Done Quicker took us about a year to make, and running Ultimate DOOM is reasonably easier than running DOOM2. What's more, most of the people who are capable of running quality runs over DOOM2 have retired. There is a sort-of sequel to DOOM2 Done Quick, which has most (although not all) newer tricks included. This run is tool-assisted though, so not a real Done Quick recording, however it's still great entertainment. If you're interested check it out at: |
