tim | Posted - 15 November 2001 18:20 PST actually the quake guys legs must be pretty stuffed up, all that jumping, and falling from heights, all that impact and stuff :) sorta reminds me of someone saying how could gordon freeman from halflife possibly fall so far and fast and just grab onto a ladder and stop instantly, he prolly dislocated both arms and stuff but never seemed to mind similar to when holding onto a ladder and also using those same arms to hold and fire a gun :) |

Nagasaki | Posted - 22 November 2001 7:53 PST Stubby: wouldn't that be r_drawviewmodel 0 ? Anyways, if anybody of you has ever played System Shock: refering to the player POVs height, how far you can jump and from which distance you can grab items, someone once described the resulting look of the hacker you play as an orang-utan ape like creature with 10 cm long legs and 2 meters long arms... ouch! I know I'm drifting away ;) Sorry. *** |
