Ken | Posted - 1 December 2001 18:30 PST I always thought my movement in Quake was decent, that some other people's were crappier. I've recorded 2 demos in WinQuake, and they'll hopefully reach SDA tables soon I think (on the TOD map). On WinQuake, with the lowest resolution, they look OK. While watching in HFR they look kinda bad.. BUT, in DOSQuake, in 640x400 (What I use always, just used Win coz I get higher fps and the low res in DOS is so fast it's unplayable), it looks VERY crappy.. specially in HFR, you can see my turns how they move, piece by piece.. wtf is that? Is there a way to fix it? We live, as we dream - alone. |
Stubby | Posted - 2 December 2001 3:17 PST Yeah, just choke your chicken daily and your movement will slowly, but steadily get smoother :-) - The axe swinging master - |

Ken | Posted - 2 December 2001 11:31 PST It's not MY hand movement, it's Quake doing that, watch my tod demos in HFR and u'll notice. We live, as we dream - alone. |
