Valeriy | Posted - 2 May 2002 5:26 PST The following happened: I had 7.00000 in the console, but :06 on the intermission screen. I've always thought that was impossible. |
Morfans | Posted - 3 May 2002 3:20 PST Was that using hfr? |
-SCUT-OpenGL | Posted - 3 May 2002 8:37 PST yes, the same thing has happened to me before. when i was trying e2m1 with hfr, once the intermission screen displayed a 0:07, and when i looked at the console i saw a 0:08.00000. |
Morfans | Posted - 5 May 2002 1:32 PST This should only ever happen when using hfr, I remember reading something about it a few years ago. Just as an x.99 recording will sometimes show on the intermission screens an x+1 when played at normal speed (due to the vagueries of the internal counter), so a x.0000 recording will sometimes show as a x-1 when played at slow speed. Quake, eh? What a pile of shite. :-) |
Valeriy | Posted - 5 May 2002 3:06 PST yep, it was hfr, actually. |
Radix | Posted - 5 May 2002 11:05 PST Actually I think its cuz the time was in fact 6.99999xxxx but QdQstats rounds up to the nearest .00001 ;-) |
Jozsef | Posted - 6 May 2002 1:29 PST "This should only ever happen when using hfr..." Nope, I remember this happened to me once as well, however I didn't use hfr. |
Morfans | Posted - 22 May 2002 10:18 PST Joe : I'm suprised. Nolan : Yes, precisely I was working off the following chart (which was swilling around in my mind at the time) Four columns. 1. 2. 3. 4. D'ya see? The third row is the situation above as I would guess it. Luckily, who listens to me? :-) |
