i think he is trying to challenge you to beat your r1m7 NH time .. and do it all keyboarded :) .. just for the hell of it

Nolan's e1m8 keyboarded 100%'s weren't bad at all.

We live, as we dream - alone.

ha, a new ROTW ?

Keyboarded Mayhem..

Cool idea for a RotW. Beat a Nolan keyboarder demo, but your record _must_ be keyboarded. Biggest improvement/persons called Nolan wins. =)

I have never seen a keyboarded demo from nolan, but for the way you guys speak of it. I guess even WITH mouse they are hard to beat ;)

r1m7 NH go watch it ..
if you don't have rogue .. shame on you .. go and buy it .. or find elsewhere ;)

actually rogue is crap imo. but hipnotic is pretty damned good.
and nolans old keyboard demos were mad, it's like in the old days of quake 1 competitions when doomer won the 1st quake 1 championships in sweden playing with a keyboard when everyone else was using a mouse. Of course he switched to a mouse and won the next year too ...

To be honest, when I began speedrunning I found all Nolan's keyboarded demos pretty impressive! Just because they are old and keyboarded doesn't mean that they're not good records. I've had lots of trouble beating several of those keyboarded records. How many people has even tried an attempt on many of the harder id 100% records?? As far as I recall, only me and Nolan, and that must count for something, right? And keep in mind that he was using a 486 to record these demos, and with a constant framerate of about 30 (I might be a bit wrong here) :-)

Nolan's keyboarded demos are awesome. Just *thinking* about doing all those moves on keyboard is hard.

I can't watch these demos, unfortunatly, but is there a record keyboarded run in the rogue levels at this very moment ??
is it that good ??
