| tim | Posted - 6 September 2002 4:35 PST ok ok so this has nothing to do with quake stuff but ... currently the world champs in basketball are happening in Indianapolis and todays games were very interesting .. The United States team filled with NBA stars lost to Yugoslavia (after also losing to Argentina the day before) also my country (NZ) has got through to the semi finals ... just. but hey they got there :) I know most of you guys are all soccer mad but wonder if anyone else has been following this. The 2 other teams in the semis are Germany and Argentina. (We lost to Germany by 20 points the other day). The coolest thing about it all was it was a fluke we qualified to even enter the series, (we bet the aussies :))always good to do that ) and now we are top 4 in the world :) The semis should be on TV saturday some time .. they are 5:30am here .. grr |
