| Stubby | Posted - 4 February 2003 7:49 PST Yeah, it would've been cool with a "Best SDA Update" award, BUT we ended up with way too many categories when we planned the whole thing. We kept cropping them down, and I'd rather have an award that benefits ALL players, and not only the SDA staff, so therefore that award was given the boot :-) - The axe swinging master - |
| Ken | Posted - 4 February 2003 8:42 PST Still, we (not-staff members) like to give credit to the updaters, and maybe an award for best update encourages them to keep making cool ones. Morfans would've won it anyways, he seems to put a lot of effor into them. BTW Stub, Spandau Ballet had another hit song, called True. Well, at least Gold and True are their only mp3's I have.. and my sister got 'em, heh. We live, as we dream - alone. |
| Jozsef | Posted - 5 February 2003 1:11 PST I was pretty surprised that you didnt put e2m4_046 NR into the list... okok, i believe it was hard to choose only 4 from those runs, but to tell it was way harder than any other demos. It might doesnt look as it was, but it's my most amazed demo i did ever (even with that slappy mistake at the end). Just told this for you to know :) |

Hmm maybe i should take over your role: Man add decent maps if you guys take the effort to add maps to the tables..the map is ugly, dull and to simple and no room for creative routes and it sux ...big time...i mean i got home after doing stupid stuff wich i had to get up real early, and i see the update i think wow great new map..played it for 10 minutes then thought man this sux but hey i'm a tolerant person i don't mind just think it's a waste of effort i was realy dissapointed realy got quakehungry when i saw the update |
