In the last week there has been an air of romance fluttering around the lofty towers of SDA and PlanetQuake as the mystical siren Jube attempted to ensnare me in her matrimonial web. But alas, it was not to be. Despite my best efforts I couldn't convince my wife that more than one Mrs Morfans was a good idea.
But being a true born English gentleman I couldn't let the situation end there. So I've taken it upon myself to try and uncover suitable prospective lifetime partners for everyone's favourite PQ newsie, and I need YOU to help me!
That's right, Folks! It's competition time! Does the thought of spending a lifetime with the PQ Goddess make you shout "Hubba Hubba!"? Would YOU have what it takes to be Mr Jube??? Or do you know someone else you think is up to the job???
If so I want to hear from you!! Send me the reasons why you, or your friend, should have this highest of honour. The mail contains a couple of suggestions to get you going but feel free to delete them, just be creative! The best suggestions, as judged by me (or maybe Jube, I don't know, I haven't really thought this through...), will be posted up here. Win big prizes![1] Be the envy of your friends! Prove to the world that you're not a Jonny-no-pants gaming geek with no social skillz or sense of humour, but are in fact a Jonny-big-pants gaming love god.[2]
So if you think you're man enough to fill the empty photo above then mail me and join in the fun. Let's see if we can't get the girl wed to some Quakeing hunk of love. Because if I don't get any entries at all then she'll have to make do with Stubbz!
[1] As per usual prizes will vary tremendously in quality, if they actually exist at all, and will probably never turn up anyway. Just do it for the sheer pleasure of joining in.
[2] Or "Jenny-big-blouse gaming love goddess" if you are a member of that mysterious "female" race. SDA and PlanetQuake operate an open minded, non discriminatory policy and the judging of entries will not be biased by your chromozonal arrangement or chosen bedroom proclivity.
Huge thanks due to Jube for being a good sport and agreeing to let us do this, and Jesse for the amazingly cool artwork.
