70+ Games
Speed Demos Archive, the home to video game speed runs, is proud to present a special speed running marathon: Summer Games Done Quick, a 5-day online event played to raise money for autism research and streamed live for you to watch!

The marathon will start on May 24th at 3 PM EDT (GMT-4). You can watch the stream on SDA's home page when it begins.

Special Events
During the marathon, we held several special events to keep things exciting:
- Prizes – Donate for a chance to win great prizes such as hand-knitted plushes, perlers, artwork, games, and other great stuff like OoT custom t-shirts, FF6 woodblock art, and official Mega Man cartoon animation cels! The grand prize this time around is a Wii bundle that includes Mario Kart Wii and Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword!
- Donation Bids for Runs – As with every SDA marathon, you can donate for file names of your choice and certain challenges in runs. However, there are also different games and types of runs at stake! The donation battles include an in-bounds or out of bounds run for Portal, weapon of choice in Contra 3, character choice in Contra 4 and Castlevania: Lament of Innocence, Katamari Forever mode or Katamari Drive mode in Katamari Forever, among many others. Donate to pick your favorites!
- Races – If the excitement of seeing games demolished by speed runners simply isn't enough, then make sure to watch the intense matchups between different runners as they compete to see who can complete a game faster. This marathon will include races for Athena, Legacy of the Wizard, Bomberman Hero, Rygar, Castlevania: Lament of Innocence, and Goonies 2.
- Add Games to the Schedule – Throughout the event, opportunities will arise for some of your favorite games/runs from previous marathons to be showcased despite not already being on the schedule. Stay tuned often so you can donate for additional runs from talented runners like Mike Uyama, Duckfist, UraniumAnchor and others!
