Have you even thought about how people should have made it to the roof anyways? I mean, they couldn't get OFF the roof, how could (and why should) they get ON it then? Next time you happen to be stuck in a skyscraper after you normal working day has been interrupted by the most devastating terroristic assault ever, I'll ask you again if you want to paint a banner and run around screaming "Get on the roof! | De_Verorberaar | Posted - 30 September 2002 11:30 PST but i was serious...the point is people are dying already/anyway so you can "try" anything but it is true that it was hard to get up the roof cuz the staiways were filled with smoke... but because you are already almost dead you can take that risk espcially when on one of the top floors... not enough choppers? pff enough choppers to make a lot a lot of nice tv-footage...

| Nagasaki | Posted - 1 October 2002 1:52 PST We are talking about 2-3k of people who would've had to be carried by choppers dude, and this doesn't even count the other 2-3k who made it out of the buildings through the ground-entrances (you might have forgotten that more people are likely to be saved THAT way, which is also the reason why the first instinct is to head for the ground rather than the roof).
